Causeway Link CW3 & CW4 New Jurong East MRT Boarding & Alighting Point At Venture Avenue (Exit B)

New Jurong East MRT Station Boarding & Alighting Point At Venture Avenue For Causeway Link CW3 & CW4

With the opening of Relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange on 6 December 2020, bus routes around Jurong East Town Centre have also been reshuffled to better fit the entry points of the new interchange. Notably, on top of 2 other public bus services routed differently, Causeway Link Bus Services CW3 & CW4 will not operate from Relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange at all, but will utilize one bay of the existing Private Bus Pick-up Point along Venture Avenue, converted to become the Causeway Link Boarding & Alighting Point.

(While understandably there is no Causeway Link services in Singapore now, this change is technically with effect from 6 December 2020 in tandem with the opening of Relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange.)

Affected Causeway Link Bus Services

Linkway from Jurong East MRT Station to Causeway Link Boarding & Alighting Point

If coming from Jurong East MRT Station, head to Exit B as usual. However, do NOT turn right to Relocated Jurong East Bus Interchange, but instead, continue straight 🢁.

Head down the long ramp to the Private Bus Pick-up Point. There should be updated signs in future when Causeway Link comes back to Singapore for regular operations after this whole COVID-19 thing.

The Private Bus Pick-up Point now ends at Berth 2. Berth 1 ahead is reserved for Causeway Link Bus Services CW3 & CW4.

New Causeway Link CW3 & CW4 Boarding & Alighting Point At Jurong East Venture Avenue

The bus bay has already been clearly marked for Causeway Link Bus Services CW3 & CW4 only.

However, I’m not sure if the current bus stop-like layout will be able to take the peak hour crowds, or will a queuing system similar to Queen Street be required. But then again, additions and alterations could be made later, just like how there are no signs to Causeway Link Bus Services CW3 & CW4 now for good reason.

The most obvious “sign” would be the new unmarked blue and yellow office counter at the end of Berth 1.

A new road information sign also indicates the Causeway Link Boarding & Alighting Point for motorists.

Jurong East Causeway Link ManjaLink Self-Service Kiosk

A ManjaLink Self-Service Kiosk is also attached to the new Jurong East Causeway Link office counter for purchasing and topping-up your ManjaLink Card, check your card balance, and claim your rebates.

If the peak hour queues get too long, I’m sure the remaining 4 bus bays of the Private Bus Pick-up Point can cater to the crowd.
