Eastern & Oriental Express Resumes with Essence of Malaysia Luxury Trip from 11 February 2024
The Eastern & Oriental Express resumes revenue train services after an almost-4-year hiatus on Sunday, 11 February 2024, with the Essence of Malaysia luxury trip departing from Woodlands Train Checkpoint (Woodlands CIQ) at 3pm. The new 2024 Eastern & Oriental Express itineraries will only be serving Malaysia and Singapore, breaking from the traditional Singapore-Bangkok route, now more intense on Malaysian destinations, with the new Wild Malaysia journey even going along the Jungle Railway to Taman Negara from March 2024.
