Fire breaks out at JB Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal
A fire broke out at JB Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal at 6.50am on Sunday, 23 July 2023. No casualties have been reported. Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel are present at the scene as representatives from the Secretariat of the Johor Bahru District Disaster Management Committee (JPBD) to ensure that all reports are promptly received by the Johor Bahru District Office.

Temporary Change in Bus Boarding Location
Express Bus
KKKL Express Malaysia has announced for departing passengers to temporarily proceed to the bus exit gate. Staff will be available to assist and direct customers to board the bus. All express buses are assumed to be following this same procedure.
Arriving passengers are assumed to be dropped off outside around JB Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal.
Local Stage Bus
It is unknown if there are departing local stage buses from JB Larkin Sentral at the moment.
Arriving passengers are assumed to be dropped off outside around JB Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal, assuming buses are still going to JB Larkin Sentral.
Singapore Bus

The Civil Defence Force (APM) is observed to be taking up the Singapore bus berths for operations. It is unknown if there are departing Singapore buses from JB Larkin Sentral at the moment.
Singapore buses may also simply loop back at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) and not serve Larkin Sentral. If you are heading to Singapore, it is better to go directly to JB Sentral and then walk in to Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) for immigration and customs clearance before boarding buses to Singapore.
