Jewel Changi Airport Reopened
Jewel Changi Airport has reopened on Monday, 14 June 2021, after it was closed along with Terminals 1 and 3 on 13 May 2021 amid a growing Covid-19 cluster that originated in Terminal 3. To get to Jewel Changi Airport now, there are some changes with regards to how you access it via public transport, since Terminals 1 and 3 remains closed to the public for now.
Changi Airport Terminals 1 & 3 has reopened to the public on Wednesday, 1 September 2021.
Driving to Jewel Changi Airport
Jewel Changi Airport has free parking from 14 June to 11 July from 10am till 11pm daily. This offer is valid for parking at Jewel / T1 Carpark, B2 to B5 (excluding short-term parking). No minimum spend required.
To qualify for free parking, drivers must exit the carpark by 11pm. Vehicles exiting after 11pm will be charged the full parking fees computed from the time of entry.
For ride-sharing like Grab and Gojek or taxis, the Jewel driveway is open as per normal.
MRT to Jewel Changi Airport
Jewel Changi Airport is only accessible from Changi Airport MRT Station via Terminal 2. Terminal 3 remains closed to the public, and as such, you cannot use the linkbridge from Terminal 3 as you are required to walk through the terminal building. Similarly, the MRT-Bus transfer at Changi Airport is still only available from Terminal 2.
Changi Airport Terminals 1 & 3 has reopened to the public on Wednesday, 1 September 2021.
Head up the escalator towards Terminal 2 Departure Hall.
Continue up the escalator to the 3rd Floor.
From here, continue with the passageway to walk to Jewel.
Bus to Jewel Changi Airport
Jewel Changi Airport is now accessible via Terminal 1 via a secondary walking route without mixing with the Arrival Hall.
Jewel Changi Airport is only accessible via Terminal 2. Terminals 1 and 3 remains closed to the public, and as such, you cannot use Bus Stop 95029 Changi Airport PTB1 at Terminal 1 to access Jewel as you are required to walk through the terminal building.
Changi Airport Terminals 1 & 3 has reopened to the public on Wednesday, 1 September 2021.
Terminal 3 remains closed to the public and you cannot access the MRT station from here.
All public buses serving Changi Airport stop at Bus Stop 95029 Changi Airport PTB1 at Terminal 1. You can now use Terminal 1 bus stop to access Jewel.
Head through the Terminal 1 entrance.
The travellators to Level 1 are switched off, but are walkable since the slope is gentle.
Walk through the underpass at Terminal 1 Basement 1 to Jewel.
Head up the travellator to Level 1 for the Jewel entrance.

❌ CLOSED: Jewel Exit to Terminal 1
The Jewel exit to Terminal 1 is closed to members of the public. You are only allowed to pass through this point if you are catching a taxi or bus at Basement 1.
❌ CLOSED: Jewel Linkway to Terminal 3
The Jewel linkway to Terminal 3 is closed to members of the public. To get to the MRT station, use the linkway to Terminal 2.
