KTM Additional Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2025 ETS Trains
KTM Berhad will operate 4 additional ETS train services on the KL Sentral – Padang Besar – KL Sentral route and KL Sentral – Butterworth – KL Sentral route to accommodate the increased travel demand during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations. These additional ETS Platinum services are part of KTMB’s efforts to accommodate the high demand, as tickets for regular ETS services have mostly sold out. This initiative underscores KTMB’s commitment to providing effective solutions to meet passenger needs, ensuring rail services remain the top travel choice for Malaysians by offering comfortable, safe, and user-friendly journeys. It aligns with KTMB and the government’s commitment to providing comfortable and safe public transport while helping to alleviate traffic congestion often experienced during holiday periods.
Passengers are advised to purchase tickets via cashless transactions through the KTM Mobile app (KITS), ticketing kiosks, or KTMB’s official website at www.ktmb.com.my for a faster and more convenient experience. As of 1 January 2025, KTMB has fully transitioned to a cashless ticketing system.
Passengers are also encouraged to arrive at stations 30 minutes before departure for smoother documentation processes, as boarding gates will close 5 minutes prior to departure to ensure a seamless and comfortable journey.
