The Nanning Rail Transit (南宁轨道交通) or NNRT is a new subway line in China, first commencing operations on 28 June 2016 on the sector between Nanning East and Nanhu, with the full Line 1 being completed on 28 December 2016 up to Shibu, linking Nanning Railway Station (火车站 / Hojcehcan) with Nanning East Railway Station (火车东站 / Hojceh Dunghcan) on a single metro line. As there are not that many China Railway trains connecting these 2 stations, the NNRT Line 1 (南宁地铁1号线) would be the easiest way to get between these 2 major stations in Nanning.
Just like all metro systems in China, tickets are purchased from automatic ticket vending machines.
