KTMB to Maintain Normal Train Operations on 26 July, Welcomes Transport Minister’s Call
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has affirmed its commitment to maintaining regular train services in response to the recent statement from Transport Minister YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook. The minister ensured that all public transport operations, including KTMB trains and stations, will proceed as usual on Saturday, 26 July 2025.
KTMB has announced that all KTM Komuter and ETS trains will follow their usual scheduled timetables without interruption, placing a strong emphasis on ensuring a smooth, safe, and comfortable journey for passengers.
To promote efficient and seamless travel, KTMB has issued the following guidance to passengers:
- Plan Ahead: Passengers are encouraged to check the latest schedules in advance via KTMB’s official website.
- Follow Instructions: Travellers should heed station staff directions and official announcements to ensure safety and smooth movement.
- Utilise Digital Tools: The KTM Mobile (KITS) app is recommended for ticket purchases and real-time schedule checks via MyRailtime.
- Opt for Cashless Payments: Users are advised to pay for tickets using KITS, debit/credit cards, e-wallets, or Touch ’n Go for speedier transactions and added convenience.
