New KTM Komuter Klang Valley Timetable from 27 April 2026 (Jadual Baru KTM Komuter Lembah Klang mulai 27 April 2026)
A new KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector timetable will be implemented from 27 April 2026 for the Batu Caves-Pulau Sebang (Tampin) Line, in line with the ongoing progress of the Klang Valley Double Track Phase II (KVDT2) project and following passenger feedback regarding travel times and schedule suitability. These improvements will take effect from Monday, 27 April 2026 for weekday timetables, and from Friday, 1 May 2026 for weekend and public holiday timetables.
The updated timetable has been designed to take into account passenger travel patterns, especially during peak hours, to be more practical and user-friendly in helping them plan their daily journeys throughout the KVDT2 project implementation period. This project involves the closure of one track between Seremban and Salak Selatan over a distance of 67km to allow infrastructure works to be carried out safely and efficiently.
Train operations on the affected route are being carried out using a single track only and must be shared between Komuter and ETS services. This has resulted in several ETS train movements also being scheduled along the route in the afternoon, following the full overnight track closure for upgrade works from 9.30pm to 5.30am, during which no scheduled train movements are permitted. This operational coordination is being carried out to ensure both services can continue safely and orderly throughout the project period.
This improvement only involves adjustments to train operating times while retaining the existing 5 weekday services during morning and afternoon peak periods.
There will be no train services between MidValley and Seremban/Tampin from 18 April 2026 until end-December 2026 at most times of the day due to infrastructure upgrading works under the Klang Valley Double Track Phase 2 (KVDT2) Project between Salak Selatan and Seremban. Notably, train services will only operate in 1 direction of demand during peak times.
This rescheduling is to facilitate track upgrade works over a distance of 67 km to be carried out more safely, orderly and efficiently, while also helping to accelerate the implementation timeline of the KVDT2 project so that it can be completed ahead of the scheduled time.
The rationale for this implementation involves upgrading the track system, signalling, and related infrastructure in order to improve operational safety, train ride stability, service efficiency, and the long-term reliability of the rail system.
The implementation of this rescheduling is important to enable critical works to be carried out within a more optimal timeframe, thereby helping to expedite completion of the KVDT2 project ahead of schedule and reduce the risk of prolonged disruption in future.
The project implementation period is expected to last until end-December 2026.

As part of operational planning, KTMB is also optimising the use of train sets on this route, including planning to optimise passenger capacity in the northern sector to ensure service levels remain resilient throughout the project period.
