SMH Rail M10 Locomotive
SMH Rail M10 Locomotive is a remanufactured diesel locomotive derived from the KTM 29 Class Locomotive. Similar to other SMH Rail projects, the M10 is an upgraded and modernised locomotive to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency while extending the locomotive’s service life. The M10 locomotive maintains the KTM 29 Class Locomotive bodywork, underframe, and superstructure.
The G10 features modern traction control systems, improved fuel efficiency, remote monitoring and diagnostics, and compliance with international standards. This process involves refitting the core mechanical and electrical components while incorporating new technology to meet contemporary rail operational requirements.
