JB Larkin Sentral RM1 Shower

Larkin Sentral is the main long-distance bus terminal in Johor Bahru. Before or after a long bus trip, you may be wanting a shower. Tucked away in a small corner of a public toilet is a shower room available for RM1.

JB Larkin Sentral Shower Room

At the public toilet on the local bus berth end of the terminal, there is a shower on offer. Entry to the toilet costs 30 sen, but a shower is also available at RM1. Pay RM1 to the toilet attendant for a shower.

The 1 shower cubicle is located on the left side, at the end of the row of toilet cubicles.

The door is marked as “Shower”.

For RM1, a cold shower is provided, but with a proper shower head. Bring your own towel and toiletries.

The shower is located in a not-so-clean toilet cubicle. There is also almost no dry space around to leave your belongings due to the location of the shower head. For best use, it’s best to be travelling in pairs or groups so that you can leave your belongings with a friend or family member outside the toilet, and bring only what’s essential into the shower room inside a plastic bag.

It’s not the most pleasant-looking shower room out there, but for only RM1, you can’t argue with the price. If you’re desperate for a shower, this is quite worth it. The dirty floor is easily fixed with the first minute letting water spray around into the drain, and will be clean after you complete your shower with remnant soap washing away the dirt.
