Kereta Sewa from Perhentian Bas Dan Teksi Bandar Kuala Lipis to Terminal Anggerik Kuala Lipis

Kuala Lipis Kereta Sewa from Perhentian Bas Dan Teksi Bandar Kuala Lipis to Terminal Anggerik Kuala Lipis

With a long transit in Kuala Lipis from the Shuttle Timuran 53dn, there was more than enough time for me to walk the 1 kilometer from Kuala Lipis Railway Station to Terminal Anggerik Kuala Lipis to catch my Pahang Lin Siong bus to Kuala Lumpur. However, as it started to rain (which I didn’t know then would be part of the December 2021 Central Malaysia floods), I decided that a better option would be to catch a Kereta Sewa instead.

Perhentian Bas Dan Teksi Bandar Kuala Lipis

Perhentian Bas Dan Teksi Bandar Kuala Lipis is located just outside Kuala Lipis Railway Station‘s new car park.

Contrary to its name, buses unfortunately no longer stop at Perhentian Bas Dan Teksi Bandar Kuala Lipis. It would have been much more convenient though.

There is a food court behind Perhentian Bas Dan Teksi Bandar Kuala Lipis named Medan Selera Ixora. I had my quick, simple lunch here for under RM5.

Yeah, quick because I spent most of my long layover time trainspotting and I almost forgot to eat.

When I was ready to go, there was a waiting Kereta Sewa waiting for passengers too, so that was efficient.

I asked for the fare beforehand from the Kereta Sewa driver. Kereta Sewa is basically a rural taxi which operates without meters, and does not literally mean rental car in this case.

The Kereta Sewa fare from Perhentian Bas Dan Teksi Bandar Kuala Lipis to Terminal Anggerik Kuala Lipis costs RM6.

Nice to be in a Proton Saga Iswara again.

The 1 kilometer from Perhentian Bas Dan Teksi Bandar Kuala Lipis to Terminal Anggerik Kuala Lipis journey took just 3 minutes. If I had went on foot, it would involve crossing a bridge over Sungai Jelai in the rain, so I think it was RM6 well spent.

Payment was made to the driver in cash.

If you’re heading in the opposite direction, there is a small Kereta Sewa stand at Terminal Anggerik Kuala Lipis too.

With the quick Kereta Sewa journey, I arrived in good time for my Pahang Lin Siong bus to Kuala Lumpur.
