Johore Motor Bus 56 from Ayer Hitam to Kluang
Johore Motor Bus 56 is a local non-air-conditioned bus service from Batu Pahat to Kluang via Ayer Hitam, making a stop at Ayer Hitam Bus Terminal in both bounds. Continuing on to Kluang, I waited for Johore Motor Bus 56 at Ayer Hitam Bus Terminal, which surprisingly did not take too long.

Conclusion
Johore Motor Bus 56 is a reasonably-frequent rural bus service with less than half an hour wait for me during a weekday afternoon. There’s no air-conditioning on board, but the wind blowing through the bus throughout the journey was good ventilation, even with the heat from outside, and I didn’t feel stuffy throughout the journey. The forward-facing seats also offer good legroom.
