KTM Shuttle Tebrau Online Cancellation and Refund (2020 Malaysia Movement Control Order)
The Shuttle Tebrau Online Refund Website (2020 Malaysia Movement Control Order) was created to facilitate online refunds for customers on Shuttle Tebrau train services with travel dates during the 2020 Malaysia Movement Control Order (Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Malaysia 2020) as a precautionary measure against the COVID-19 pandemic. The Shuttle Tebrau online refund service has since ceased as of 31 July 2020, and refunds are now processed back in the usual way.

Passengers who use the Shuttle Tebrau Online Refund Website with travel dates during the 2020 Malaysia Movement Control Order (Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Malaysia 2020) will receive a 100% refund of the ticket value in their personal bank account within 45 days from the date of application.
Before the Shuttle Tebrau Online Refund Website was created, the only way for passengers to process Shuttle Tebrau refunds was to head down to JB Sentral Railway Station or Woodlands CIQ (Woodlands Train Checkpoint) and make a manual refund at the Shuttle Tebrau ticket counter where if a ticket is cancelled more than 72 hours prior to train departure time, a refund of 75% is given, and if the ticket is cancelled less than 72 hours prior to train departure time, a refund of 50% is given.

Step 2: Key in your Shuttle Tebrau ticket and personal details
Key in your Shuttle Tebrau ticket number, name, passport number, MyKad number (optional), email address, mobile number, and the mode of payment used to make your booking.
You can login to your KTM Shuttle Tebrau Ticketing System account to access your registered name, passport number, and Shuttle Tebrau ticket number easily so that you can just copy and paste these details into the refund form. These are highlighted in the red and yellow boxes above. Do note that only tickets for Shuttle Tebrau travel dates from 18th March 2020 to 14th April 2020 are eligible for the online refund.
Following which, click the terms and conditions agreement box after you have read through it.
Step 3: Confirmation Screen
And the process is done. Surprisingly simple. Now all you have to do is to wait for 45 days for your Shuttle Tebrau refund to be processed and credited to your original mode of payment.
HOWEVER…
To use the Shuttle Tebrau Online Refund Website to process your refund, you need to have BOTH a MyKad number and a passport number. It is not possible to leave either text boxes blank.
UPDATE (23 March 2020): The MyKad number text box is now not mandatory. A passport number is sufficient.
When trying to fill in the MyKad number text box with a Singaporean alphanumerical passport number, the Shuttle Tebrau Online Refund Website system rejects the request as the text box will only allow a 12-digit MyKad number to be filled in. Filling in a Singaporean IC number would also not work as both Singaporean NRIC and Passport numbers are alphanumerical.
UPDATE (23 March 2020): The MyKad number text box is now not mandatory. A passport number is sufficient.
History (Sort Of) Repeats Itself
As such, only Malaysians are allowed to process their Shuttle Tebrau refunds online at the moment. Singaporeans and other foreigners need to wait till 1 April 2020 when the JB Sentral Railway Station and Woodlands CIQ (Woodlands Train Checkpoint) ticket counters allow for manual refunds to be made again. However, it is not known if backdated refunds can be processed at the JB Sentral Railway Station and Woodlands CIQ (Woodlands Train Checkpoint) ticket counter from 15th April 2020 onwards, or if the full refund of 100% will still be given.
