KTMB x LEGOLAND Malaysia 35% Discount on LEGOLAND Malaysia Admission Tickets
Travelling to Johor for a family holiday is set to become more rewarding following a new strategic partnership between KTM Berhad and LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, aimed at strengthening rail tourism and improving connectivity to the southern corridor of Peninsular Malaysia. Announced on 21 May 2026, this collaboration marks a significant step in encouraging more Malaysians to choose rail travel, particularly KTM ETS services, for leisure journeys to Johor. The partnership also supports wider national aspirations to promote safer, more sustainable, and more comfortable travel through rail transportation.

As part of the initiative, ETS passengers will enjoy a special 35% discount on LEGOLAND Malaysia admission tickets across all travel sectors. The promotion runs from 21 May until 21 November 2026 and applies to LEGOLAND Malaysia Day tickets, providing added value for families planning school holiday getaways or weekend trips to Johor.

This promotion is valid for Malaysian residents/citizens only.
Supporting Malaysia’s Road to Rail Vision
The collaboration comes as KTMB continues expanding its ETS network, improving accessibility between Johor, the Klang Valley, and the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. The enhanced connectivity offers travellers a more practical and comfortable alternative to road travel while supporting Malaysia’s broader “Road to Rail” aspiration.
By encouraging more passengers to travel by train, the initiative promotes a transportation model that is safer, faster, and more environmentally sustainable. It also highlights the increasing importance of rail travel in supporting domestic tourism growth and regional economic development.
LEGOLAND Malaysia Continues to Drive Family Tourism
Located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort remains one of Southeast Asia’s premier family tourism destinations. The integrated resort combines a theme park, water park, hotel, and SEA LIFE aquarium in a single LEGO-themed destination designed primarily for families with children aged between two and 12 years old.
The resort features more than 80 rides, attractions, shows, and interactive experiences, including themed zones, LEGO workshops, and Miniland displays built from over 30 million LEGO bricks. Meanwhile, the LEGOLAND Water Park offers family-friendly attractions such as wave pools, slides, and interactive water play areas, while SEA LIFE Malaysia provides immersive marine experiences with more than 13,000 sea creatures across 11 habitat zones.
Expanding the Rail Tourism Ecosystem
KTMB also expressed its intention to collaborate with more tourism industry players and attraction operators, particularly in Johor, to further strengthen Malaysia’s rail tourism ecosystem. By linking key attractions with its nationwide station network, the rail operator aims to create more integrated travel experiences that encourage both domestic and international tourism.
The partnership between KTMB and LEGOLAND Malaysia reflects a growing trend towards integrated tourism and mobility solutions, where rail travel becomes an essential part of the holiday experience rather than simply a mode of transport.
