How to book new KTM ETS & KTM Intercity train ticket with refund
Booking a new ETS and KTM Intercity train ticket online with the KTM Wallet is exactly the same as booking with any other payment methods.
Click here for the step-by-step KTM ETS & KTM Intercity Online Ticket Booking Guide on the KTMB Integrated Ticketing System (KITS).
Step 1: Search for KTM ETS & KTM Intercity train
Search for your train as per normal with your origin, destination, date(s) of travel, and number of passengers. Remember to be logged in to your KITS account.
Step 2: Select Train and Seat
Select your train and seat as per normal.
Step 3: Pay with KTM Wallet
Under the Payment Options, select “KTM Wallet”.
Do note that payment modes on the KTMB Integrated Ticketing System (KITS) cannot be mixed. That means that you must have sufficient funds in your KTM Wallet before being allowed to use it. You cannot top up the remaining amount in your ticket with other payment methods such as a credit card.
You can, however, top up your KTM Wallet first with a credit card with a minimum value of RM10 in order to complete your transaction. This method may still not be sufficient if you are looking to buy a single Shuttle Timuran ticket, but may be enough for ETS and KTM Intercity express trains.
Just a quick update, registered as a European on KITS, I was not offered any refund option other than KTM Wallet. So I guess nationality doesn’t matter here.
Thanks, I have updated the article as such.

I am a Senior Citizen and I bought an ETS train ticket at KL Sentral station yesterday i.e. 28 December 2002 from KL Sentral to Ipoh on 5th January 2023. How do I cancel my ticket as I am not going to Ipoh on that day?
Go back to the counter.
I’m student member acc, I had cancelled the ticket and refunded to my ktb wallet? How to withdraw money from my ktb wallet? If not possible for the withdrawal, after my membership expired next year and I’m not continue, the money in the wallet will be void?
You cannot withdraw money from your KTM Wallet. The money will still be inside your KITS account. KTM Wallet is a credit account, not related to your MyRailLife registration.
Is it possible to change from backward to forward seat after the ticket being issued?
Nope, unless you cancel your ticket and buy a new one, subject to the refund rates.
