The first phase of the MRT Putrajaya Line (PY Line) from Kwasa Damansara MRT Station to Kampung Batu MRT Station will open in August 2021, as announced by MRT Corp on 18 May 2021.
MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 1 has been delayed to the second quarter of 2022.
MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 1 between Kwasa Damansara MRT Station and Kampung Batu MRT Station has opened on Thursday, 16 June 2022, at 3pm.
The stations in the MRT Putrajaya Line (PY Line) Phase 1 are:
- Kwasa Damansara MRT Station – Currently on MRT Kajang Line (KG Line) / Interchange with MRT Kajang Line (KG Line)
- Kampung Selamat MRT Station – Currently on MRT Kajang Line (KG Line)
- Sungai Buloh MRT Station – Currently on MRT Kajang Line (KG Line) / Interchange with KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector
- Damansara Damai MRT Station
- Sri Damansara Barat MRT Station
- Sri Damansara Sentral MRT Station
- Sri Damansara Timur MRT Station – Interchange with KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector
- Metro Prima MRT Station
- Kepong Baru MRT Station
- Jinjang MRT Station
- Sri Delima MRT Station
- Kampung Batu MRT Station – Interchange with KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector
The second phase, from Kampung Batu MRT Station to Putrajaya Sentral MRT Station will open in January 2023, allowing trains to run the entire PY Line alignment.
The MRT Putrajaya Line (PY Line) was previously known as the MRT Sungai Buloh–Serdang–Putrajaya Line (SSP Line).
