Heading to the Inauguration Ceremony of Kajang 2 Railway Station, I caught KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector 2037dn after running a short errand at Kuala Lumpur Railway Station as it would get me to Kajang 2 just in time for registration.

The Passenger Information System (PIS) is out of service, replaced with a QR code to scan for the MyRailtime website.

92 Class SCS08 was operating on my KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector 2037dn.

KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector 2037dn is bound for Pulau Sebang Railway Station (Tampin Railway Station), the first afternoon train of the day to the end of the line.

Kajang 2 Railway Station

My KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector 2037dn arrived at Kajang 2 Railway Station on time at 3.28pm.

KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector 2037dn continues on to Pulau Sebang Railway Station (Tampin Railway Station) where it terminates.

Kajang 2 Railway Station is a new infill station built on the existing active KTM Central Line, featuring side platforms.

Platform 2 is linked to the concourse via a bridge across the tracks within the sheltered area of Kajang 2 Railway Station.

The southern end features a staircase.

New single-track line information is featured at Platform 2, being a bi-directional platform.

Platform 2 previously featured information to Batu Caves only when first opened.

The southern end features a set of bi-directional escalators. A lift is also available in between, directly to the bridge.

Kajang 2 Railway Station was inaugurated officially on 13 April 2023 by Minister of Transport YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook.

The lift down to Jalan Reko remains closed, with the maintenance barricade being replaced with a more permanent board covering.

The sign for routine maintenance has also changed to “Lift not in operation.”.

Minister of Transport YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook has questioned why the lift at Kajang 2 Railway Station is not in operation.
