Kuala Lumpur Planned Event on Saturday, 21 August 2021
Due to a planned event in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 21 August 2021, selected KTM Berhad and Rapid KL train stations will be temporarily closed from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, 21 August 2021. Train services running through these sections will skip these selected stations. There is also a possibility that train services running through these sections may also be terminated before entering the affected sections.

As of 21 August 2021 9am, Dataran Merdeka has been completely cordoned off with a two-metre-tall fence. Plain clothes as well as uniformed policemen are on duty as they enforce a court order prohibiting gatherings and processions within a one-kilometre radius of Sogo Complex and Dataran Merdeka.
