Continuing on to Tobu-Nikko, the next train was a Local just 3 minutes away, which is a lot more pleasant than the long wait at Kinugawa-Onsen just now. The service that I’ll be on though, is just a short relay train for the Limited Express Kinugawa, so the whole train service will last just 7.1km with 3 stations served in total – Shimo-Imaichi, Kami-Imaichi and Tobu-Nikko.

The Limited Express Kinugawa 5 would arrive at Platform 2, and passengers for Tobu-Nikko can cross the platform to Platform 1 to board the Local relay train.

Overall, a short and pleasant trip on the Tobu Nikko Line Local. Now for a little bit of Nikko exploration first.
