Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange (WTBI) On-Site Pre-Departure ART Antigen Swab Test for Transtar Travel VTL Bus

From 13 January 2022, Transtar Travel will partner Raffles Medical Group to provide an on-site Pre-Departure ART Antigen Swab Test for Transtar Travel VTL Bus passengers travelling from Singapore Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange (WTBI) to Johor Bahru Larkin Sentral.

The new ART testing centre for Transtar Travel VTL Bus passengers at Singapore Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange (WTBI) will be at opposite Berth 3 before where the Transtar Travel VTL Bus departs from.

This new partnership between Transtar Travel and Raffles Medical Group offers an additional same-day testing option for passengers travelling on Transtar Travel VTL Bus from Singapore Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange (WTBI) to Johor Bahru Larkin Sentral.

Note that this new same-day ART testing option is just for additional convenience, and not compulsory to use them only. You can still use other providers as long as it meets the requirements to enter Malaysia by the Malaysia VTL-Land.

Passengers may book for this same-day Pre-Departure ART Antigen Swab Test for Transtar Travel VTL Bus at https://care-partner.app.link/Woodlands-ART. The cost for each test is S$26.75 Singapore Dollars.

All passengers must arrive at Singapore Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange (WTBI) Berth 4 90 minutes before the bus departure time to register for pre-departure testing.

[PSA] Do not use MOH COVID-19 Test Result Notice from Quick Test Centre (QTC) for Pre-Departure Test Certificate

Some users of the VTL-Land are claiming to be able to use the MOH COVID-19 Test Result Notice from a Quick Test Centre (QTC) as a pre-departure test certificate.

A handwritten sign at the QTC clearly states that pre-departure tests should be done at clinics only.

To further prevent the MOH COVID-19 Test Result Notice being used as a pre-departure test certificate, there is also a new box in the notice clearly stating that the MOH COVID-19 Test Result Notice is not equivalent to a HealthCert for overseas travel.

tl;dr DO NOT use the MOH COVID-19 Test Result Notice as a a pre-departure test certificate. The extra S$26.75 spent for another test at Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange (WTBI) is nothing as compared to the privilege of quarantine-free travel with ART during the COVID-19 pandemic.
