KTM Additional Hari Raya Aidiladha 2025 ETS Trains
In anticipation of heightened travel demand during the upcoming school holidays and Hari Raya Aidiladha, KTM Berhad will operate 4 additional Electric Train Service (ETS) train services on the KL Sentral – Padang Besar – KL Sentral route and KL Sentral – Butterworth – KL Sentral route. These additional train services will operate from 29 May to 9 June 2025.
Tickets for these additional ETS trains will go on sale starting 13 May 2025 at 10am. Passengers are encouraged to book early via the KTM Mobile (KITS) app, KTMB’s official website, or ticket kiosks to secure their seats and enjoy flexi-fares if and while lower.
Additional ETS Services for Festive and School Holiday Rush
From 29 May to 9 June 2025, KTMB will operate extra ETS services along two key routes:
These additional trains will provide a total of 10,080 seats, including business class options, to enhance the travel experience for passengers. The move is part of KTMB’s ongoing commitment to offer safe, reliable, and competitive public transport, and to help ease the usual traffic congestion seen during peak festive seasons.
Ticket Sales and Train Schedules
Tickets for these special ETS services will go on sale to the public starting Tuesday, 13 May 2025, at 10:00 am. Travellers are encouraged to secure their tickets early to avoid disappointment, as demand is expected to be high.

Passengers are advised to purchase tickets via cashless transactions through the KTM Mobile app (KITS), ticketing kiosks, or KTMB’s official website at www.ktmb.com.my for a faster and more convenient experience. As of 1 January 2025, KTMB has fully transitioned to a cashless ticketing system.
Passengers are also encouraged to arrive at stations 30 minutes before departure for smoother documentation processes, as boarding gates will close 5 minutes prior to departure to ensure a seamless and comfortable journey.
