Hitachi RHN DMU
The Hitachi RHN DMU, also known as SRT Train and Blue DMU, is a diesel multiple unit of the Royal Railway. This 4-car train was gifted to Cambodia by the State Railway of Thailand for the purpose of facilitating cross-border trade and boost tourism around the eastern border of Thailand. To deliver this train, Thailand Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and Cambodia Prime Minister Hun Sen rode this train across the border from Ban Klong Luk to Poipet on Monday, 22 April 2019.
The Hitachi RHN DMU commenced services on the Phnom Penh – Poipet Line on Wednesday, 25 September 2019 on the free Pchum Ben Festival trains as 2-car sets, on a split Phnom Penh – Pursat and Poipet – Pursat service.
