The Singapore Cable Car Mount Faber Line is the first and main cable car line linking Mount Faber, Harbourfront, and Sentosa across the Keppel Harbour. This used to be the only line until the Sentosa Line came about, and the two cable car lines are clustered as the Singapore Cable Car Sky Network.
I purchased the Gai Gai Tour, a heritage tour around Faber Peak, and the tour price of S$20 includes a ticket for the Mount Faber Line, so I could use cable car to access Mount Faber where the tour starts from without any additional cost, rather than hiking up the Marang Trail.
It was a short walk from HarbourFront MRT Station to HarbourFront Tower Two where the cable car station was.
I queued up at the ticketing counter thinking that I needed to exchange my e-ticket for an actual printout, but I didn’t read the .pdf file closely enough and the staff told me that I could head up to the station directly with the ticket on my phone.
Harbourfront is an intermediate station of the Mount Faber Line, and the station has side platforms, so head to the correct lift lobby depending on your destination.

There is a SafeEntry QR code before entering the queue for boarding.
The staff checks for the SafeEntry pass and ticket, and takes your temperature before opening up the queue line. Each group gets a private cable car for social distancing, so this is the best time to get the VIP experience on the Singapore Cable Car.

It’s a rather straight and level ride to Mount Faber from HarbourFront Tower Two.
Each cable car now has an audio and visual information system, along with an emergency intercom.

There are social distancing stickers on board, but considering that each person or group gets his or her own private cable car during this COVID period, this seems slightly redundant and overly safe.
