Bukit Timah Railway Station
Bukit Timah Railway Station was a railway station in Singapore located after Bridge 1871, adjacent to King Albert Park. On 1 July 2011, in accordance with the Malaysia–Singapore Points of Agreement Supplement 2010, the station closed along with the rest of the Singapore railway south of Woodlands Train Checkpoint.
Bukit Timah Railway Station was used for passenger traffic since its inception until immigration was required after Singapore was kicked out of Malaysia. The station operated as the junction station following the opening of the Jurong Line for freight traffic, and used only as a crossing point between Tanjong Pagar Railway Station and Johor Bahru Railway Station before 1998 and Woodlands Train Checkpoint from 1998 till 2011.
Today, the Bukit Timah Railway Station is part of the Rail Corridor but the station and area around it is current used for the PUB Murnane Pipeline Project.
