Shuttle Tebrau 83dn: Johor Bahru Sentral to Woodlands CIQ by Train

After lunch, it’s time to head back to Singapore via the Shuttle Tebrau, ending this very short loop around Peninsular Malaysia. The Shuttle Tebrau is particularly useful on peak days such as Sundays when tonnes of people are trying to head back to Singapore, both local Singaporeans after a day tirp or weekend in Malaysia, and Malaysians heading back down to begin a new week of work. Thankfully, I had tickets secured 30 days before departure at 8.30am, so I was able to slice the 3-hour commute to about 5 minutes.

As the escalators were down (both travelling down and broken down), I had to take the stairs up.

As the Shuttle Tebrau now has short turnaround times at JB Sentral, passengers have to wait at the waiting room after immigration before heading to the platform.

Overall, a quick and easy ride on the Shuttle Tebrau with the stresses of the journey actually done 30 days before departure at 8.30am rather than on the journey itself.
