Singapore-JB VTL Bus: Additional On-Arrival Antigen Test (ART/RTK) in Singapore for VTL Bus Passengers in view of COVID-19 Omicron variant

Additional on-arrival ART Test in Singapore for VTL-Land travellers in view of COVID-19 Omicron variant

An on-arrival Antigen Rapid Test (ART) will be conducted for Singapore-Malaysia Vaccinated Travel Lane-Land (VTL-Land) passengers arriving in Singapore at Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange and Queen Street Bus Terminal, in view of the new B.1.1.529 strain of the coronavirus (Omicron).

VTL-Land travellers will be required to make an e-payment for the ART at the testing centre directly.

When the Singapore-Malaysia Vaccinated Travel Lane-Land (VTL-Land) procedures were first announced on 23 November 2021, no on-arrival COVID-19 testing was required for travellers arriving in Singapore from Malaysia. This was before the B.1.1.529 strain of the coronavirus named Omicron was classified as a variant of concern by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
