Aspira One Sutthisan is a new hotel in Bangkok which I only knew about when searching using the map function on agoda. When checking through the pictures versus the seemingly low rate for the quality and area, I decided to give Aspira One Sutthisan a shot on this trip to see if the deal was too good to be true.
Well, to begin with, the first picture was shot as I came out of Exit 2 of Sutthisan MRT Station. That’s how close it was to the MRT station. Plus points for location immediately.
The hotel sign was right in front of me.

Heading down the corridor to my room on the 5th Floor.
The first look at my booked Standard Single room (though I can’t seem to find the name of this room on Aspira One Sutthisan’s official website).
The Queen-sized bed in the Standard Single room.
The side open wardrobe has almost all the amenities you need.
There is a flat screen TV which shows cable channels, including CNA.
A side table with some chairs.
The room service menu, which I did not patronise since it was expensive and there’s a 7-Eleven just around the corner.
The minibar menu along with the WiFi login details.
Universal power sockets and USB charging sockets are provided in the room.
There are some murals of old Bangkok above the bed.
Not sure of this was accidental, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The clean and spacious toilet in my room.
The toilet bowl comes with a side bidet spray.
The standing shower at the end of the toilet.
Soaps are provided in the shower.
There is an option of a handheld shower head or a fixed rain shower.

The short path from Aspira One Sutthisan to Sutthisan MRT Station is well marked.

From this angle, you can see how convenient it is to get to Aspira One Sutthisan from Sutthisan MRT Station.
Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay at Aspira One Sutthisan, probably Bangkok’s best value hotel so far at prices similar to the lower-end hotels that I stay nearer to the city. The downside is the longer travelling time to the city from Sutthisan, but my main aim of this trip wasn’t for the city, and the additional few minutes of travel time for this stay quality at this price would still be worth it anyway.
