KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector 2033dn from Batu Caves to KL Sentral
The next leg of clearing the stations around the Klang Valley brought me to Batu Caves. It’s a short sector which should be easily done, but KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector trains were running at hourly frequency during my visit, made worse with a 54 minute layover for each train turning back at Batu Caves. To avoid making this short line a 2-hour train ride from and to KL, I decided to get a Grab from KL Sentral to Batu Caves to meet a departing train.
I arrived at Batu Caves with about 20 minutes to spare before my KTM Komuter Klang Valley Sector 2033dn departure from Batu Caves at 12.53pm. I headed into the main Batu Caves first for an obligatory photo.
Batu Caves was very quiet, void of any tourists, and with not much locals or stalls too.
I was in for a rude shock when I walked towards Batu Caves Railway Station – the side gate leading directly to it was locked.
I hurried back to the main gate to brisk walk by the perimeter to Batu Caves Railway Station instead.
